I was starting a new, pretty intense weight lifting regimen to loose weight, but I am planning on....?

I just recentley started a new weight lifting regemin, but stopped cause I am planning on getting pregnant within the next few months... I am afraid if I continue, than I will see great results, but have to finish when I get pregnant. Does anyone know if it is ok to lift weights while your pregnant...Thank you..
