New home construction?

I’m having a brand new home built but we have a problem, the contractor poured the slab for the old plans and we are off by two feet. The two solutions are to take away from other parts of the house to compensate for the loss or to add two feet to the back of the house. I guess my question is which option is better. And will this (solution two) reflect selling price if I decide to sell later. Rooms effected from the loss are master, living, and breakfast nook
