Ear pain for 1 year following aspirin overdose?

About 11 months ago I took a mive overdose (stupid decision) of aspirin. Got treated at the ER. I had trouble hearing for a day or two. Around that time I started having little twinges of ear pain every so often may once a day or a few times a week. It come real fast then is gone as quickly as it started. Now today all of a sudden every minute or two Im having pain in my ear. Do you think I could have permanently damaged my ears? I dont have any trouble hearing. Or if you dont think its related to the aspirin what could it be?
