What are some physical properties of granite?

I agree with the above answer, except that you can not measure the hardness of granite. Granite is a rock composed of multiple minerals, typically quartz, feldspar, biotite, and hornblende. Each of the minerals has a unique hardness. In other words, you can measure the hardness of the individual minerals, but not of granite as a rock.
