Do you think that the tv kids watch now is better or worse?

Back then I think it was common to be 5 years old and watch the Simpsons. Now it's normal for 5 year olds to only watch kiddie shows and I think those are too sugar coated. They're not as funny and I think they limit creativity because they're very stuck to teaching morals and eating vegetables, which is good and all but it makes a child's world a lot smaller. I think shows that have a little pop culture and different kinds of people kind of opens the kid's concerns about the world around them a bit more. I'm not saying they should be watching Family Guy but they don't have to be so limited either.
